Job Opportunity! The Apprentice at Arizona Tech Advisors

The Apprentice at Arizona Tech Advisors, An Apple Authorized Service Center, is the go-to person for solving problems, troubleshooting broken computers and iOS devices and generally making technology more magical for our customers. Ideal candidates know the ins and outs of the Mac, iPad, iPhone and iPod. They will spend their days focusing on customer delight, along with helping to check-in and diagnose repairs. They take great satisfaction as they not only build relationships with our customers, but also rebuild the customer’s confidence in their machine through education.

 

An Arizona Tech Advisors Apprentice treats customer’s and coworkers with the highest respect and are always searching new ways to improve our systems and procedures to make Arizona Tech Advisors a more customer focused, profitable, and unique business. This role is required to pass the iOS Certification upon completion of training. The selected applicant will aspire to become an Apple Certified Macintosh Technician, as the role will provide consistent training and preparation for the exam.

 

Principal Duties:

  • Delights customer with knowledge, integrity and commitment to an excellent service experience
  • Performs software, data retrieval and hardware repairs on iOS Devices
  • Contribute to the entire Service Department through the flexibility to jump in where needed and the knowledge of the procedures of many roles
  • Stays current on technology and procedures
  • Completes warranty and out of warranty repairs according to Apple and Arizona Tech Advisors’ standards of excellence
  • Understands Apple Customer Satisfaction and Service Excellence metrics and how repair strategies affect them
  • Maintains a high degree of quality while successfully completing repairs on or ahead of time
  • Keeps all required certifications current. Pursues voluntary certifications
  • Takes ownership of tasks and sees them through to completion\
  • Teaches private classes on iOS and OSX

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Ability to work Saturdays & Sundays if needed
  • Excellent customer-facing skills including conflict resolution and outreach
  • Extensive user experience in Apple operating systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Possesses strong analytical abilities and is capable of working methodically towards the completion of all repairs
  • Works well within a team
  • Understands the responsibility we have for protecting our customer’s privacy and property
  • Is able to prioritize and balance competing needs
  • Possesses a sense of urgency and enjoys a fast-paced environment
  • Maintains a positive and flexible outlook
